(Kimberly Marler)

Gym owner & Fitness Director

Kimberly Marler is a 1986 Bachelor of Science graduate of Texas A&M University. In 1992 she decided to take her vast knowledge of physiology, biochemistry and anatomy from a veterinary level to a human level. Her background academically as well as competitively allowed her to obtain certification by the American Council on Exercise. Additionally, she maintains various levels of certifications from the American College of Integrative Medicine for Personal Fitness Instructor Training.

Shane-Michael Doughty

Our cardio class formats will be taught by our new Group Fitness Director, Shane-Michael Doughty.  Shane has 20 years of experience in group fitness, 16 of those years as the owner of his own fitness center. He is a choreographer and former national presenter. From 2002 to 2005 he traveled the country as part of the National Fitness Convention Circuit. During that time he conducted fitness classes for clients and fitness instructors from around the United States and 38 different countries. In 2003, he was featured on MTV as a result of the success of his clients. In 2005, his fitness center was ranked 10th out of 7,000 plus franchises worldwide. He is eager to implement group fitness into our facility.

Rebecca Schmidt

A.C.E. Personal Trainer & Massage Therapist

Rebecca Schmidt has worked in the Health and Wellness industry since 2002 in Houston . After receiving a bachelor of science degree and working in the management field , she took it upon herself to have a more hands on role with her clients' therapeutic process by becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist.

She has practiced Swedish and Cranio Sacral Therapy for the past 3 years and continues to pursue other modalities such as Reiki. It only seemed natural, when working to relieve pain with massage that she decided to become a Personal Trainer. She has integrated her knowledge of anatomy and kineseology to assist clients with functional training. This includes identifying and correcting muscle imbalances and strengthening those areas to help relieve pain with in the body to help prevent further injury. This is blended with general strength training to work out the entire body which has proven to improve the overall health and change the lifestyle of her clients.

Joseph Modlin


Joseph Modlin,a certified GYROTONIC® & GYROKINESIS® instructor, found his way to the gyro world through his dance career. He began his dance training at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. While there, he additionally trained with Anderson Young Ballet Theatre both under the direction of Ms. Lou Ann Young. Currently he dances for Hope Stone Dance Company.
